Can I stop a campaign before the end date? What happens to the remaining campaign budget?

If you no longer wish to run your campaign and would like to stop it, you can seek a refund for the undelivered portion of your budget.

Process

The unused campaign budget will be added to your account balance within 48 hours of campaign being stopped. 

To check your account balance, please go to the ‘Billings and Payments’ tab. By default the account balance is set to INR 0. It’ll reflect the refunded amount once the refund is complete. You can use these funds for your future campaigns. 

In case you wouldn’t want to run another campaign and would like to transfer the account balance to your original billing method, please reach out to us at advertise@hotstar.com and we’ll help you. 

Exception

In case of a mid-roll ad campaign for Impact objective, the unused campaign budget will be refunded to your original billing method.
